That’s what depression feels like. You get out of it’s hold, take a breath of relief when you feel yourself relaxing slightly and then all it takes is one second and it all comes crashing back down, pulling you back in with 101 reasons as to why you’re not good enough. It covers your mouth so you can’t talk to anyone, grabs hold of the places you’re the most insecure and squeezes them, making them hurt even more. It all gets darker in a split second.

A little project I'm working on

Decided to challenge myself and attempt to make a more detailed stencil.

I took a picture of my hand (oh yes, sexy hand!):

And I prepped it up to make a stencil. There are 9 layers in total, 5 for my hand, and 4 for the dandelion.

Yes, I have to cut all those little grainy things out by hand. It should take a couple of months to complete.

I hope it turns out great.

A tribute to Oscar Niemeyer by Eduardo Kobra.

The city of São Paulo is paying tribute to architect Oscar Niemeyer with a massive mural on Avenida Paulista painted by artist and muralist Eduardo Kobra with the help of four other artists over the course of the last ten days. The mural in honor of Niemeyer, who passed away last December at the age of 104, is 52 meters tall and 16 meters wide, occupying almost an entire facade of an 18-story high building at Praça Oswaldo Cruz.
